SPECIALTIES
As a Compositing Supervisor, I am responsible for setting up show ingests and delivery templates, building comp templates, maintaining show configuration, and managing the color pipeline. I often collaborate with the VFX Supervisor to develop the comp lookdev, achieving the target look for client creative approval before deploying shots to the compositors.
I have comprehensive knowledge of compositing and am highly skilled in using Nuke tools, excelling in both node graph compositing and Python programming. I organize weekly comp department meetings to discuss issues and gather suggestions for departmental improvement.
Additionally, I handle the tech check of all shots before they are finalized and delivered in high resolution, demonstrating my meticulous attention to detail.

TEAM BUILDING
As the acting Compositing Supervisor and later the Compositing Head of Department at Method Studios in Montreal and San Francisco, I have overseen various projects and managed my compositing team, working closely with leads and artists. This role required me to collaborate with heads of various departments and maintain constant communication with our recruiting team to grow and expand our team.
I strongly believe in the continuous growth of every artist. To support this, I have developed weekly group training sessions and one-on-one sessions tailored to each artist's needs. I also organize Python for Nuke training to help artists develop code writing skills. Through my guidance and the support of my leads, many artists have advanced to become leads, Compositing Supervisors, and even DFX Supervisors.
My leadership and mentorship have been instrumental in fostering the professional development of my teammates, ensuring that they have the skills and opportunities to progress in their careers.
